What are In-Kind Donations?

    In-Kind Donations are gifted goods and services rather than monetary donations. Goods are valued at fair market value and the value of the goods is placed by the donor. A review is made by HHRD to ensure that reasonable value is placed.

    In just past one year, 33 containers and 4 air consignments worth $3.7 million have been donated by the HHRD donors in USA. A combined effort of the regional In-Kind Donation Centers of Helping Hand for Relief and Development was made to collect these donations. At the onset of disaster relief, an in-kind items list is generated to help donors collect the most needed items.

    Please help HHRD fulfill its vision to make use of all valuable gifted goods for the sake of deserving people of developing world, by bringing all your valuable and useful gift items to a nearby In-Kind Donation Center of HHRD. You can contribute to the shipping cost of these In-Kind donations by donating online.

Project Objectives

The objectives for this program are defined as:

   To provide relief to disaster affected people.

    To recycle useful gifted items for the needy people.

    To prioritize basic needs of vulnerable.

    To provide volunteer opportunities to youth in USA to help the humanity by getting involved in this successful program.
